  • Anyone who’s a regular listener to our show can’t have not realized that the Alltech European Dressage and Show-Jumping Championships take place this week and weekend at Windsor Castle.  It’s the first time ever the two disciplines have combined their European Championships, and the first time Windsor has opened it’s showgrounds a second time in a year.  Listen to the competition on Championship FM.
  • Some news just out any American show jumpers hoping to be selected for next year’s World Equestrian GamesThe Selection Trials will be held at The Palm Beach International Equestrian Centre in Wellington Florida next February and March over the course of five trials during two weeks.

  • Blue Hors Matine, the stunning grey dressage mare, who won silver at the Aachen 2006 World Equestrian Games in the Grand Prix Freestyle, and bronze in the Grand Prix Special has been retired to stud.  Ridden by Denmark’s Andreas Helgstrand, her freestyle became something of an urban legend, with the YouTube video being watched more than nine MILLION times.
