Injury Setback Puts End to Tim’s Hopes

SHOW jumper Tim Gredley chances of going to the European Show Jumping Championships have been dashed after his horse picked up an injury.

The 23-year-old from Stetchworth had made it down to the last six ahead of the final team selection, which took place on Tuesday, for the championships which will be held at Windsor at the end of the month.

But hopes of earning the call-up to the GB team were shattered after his horse, Omelli, sustained a leg injury at Hickstead, when the pair were competing in a Nations Cup competition at the end of last month…
