The Roses: Co-host Samantha Clark and Special WEG Correspondent Chrissy Joy

The Thorn: That would be me (Glenn the Geek) in the back there.

We met Chrissy at the Event at the Kentucky Horse Park yesterday.  Chrissy is a brand new intern at the WEG offices and will be helping them out for the summer.  She will also be providing reports straight from the WEG office every two weeks on the 2010 Radio Show.

Chrissy is a Jersey girl and still getting used to the slower Southern pace.  Our guess is she never will, Chrissy is not short on enthusiam!  Look out WEG offices!  We are looking forward to hearing her reports starting June 3, 2009.  Don’t miss a single episode!

And Nigel had better look out as our own Samantha made her announcing debut at the event over the weekend.  She did great, and sounded like an old pro.  Besides, I think there is a rule that eventing announcers must have wonderful English accents.  Way to go Sam!
