New Topiary Horse Unvieled for 2010 Games
A new horse is making his mark in downtown Lexington.
On Tuesday, the mayor unveiled a 12 foot tall topiary horse for the 2010 World Equestrian Games.
The horse is on the Courthouse Plaza at the corner of Main and Limestone.
It’s all a part of the Spotlight Lexington project, which includes special events meant to showcase the city during the competition.
The city also announced plans for a poster contest for Spotlight Lexington. Anyone can enter. The design deadline is June 26th.
