Alltech’s Billy Frey in Washington,D.C.

Billy Frey is North American Public Relations Manager for the Nicholasville-based global animal nutrition company Alltech, name sponsor of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010.

Billy is the latest member of the Lexington business community volunteering to share his observations and experiences while on the road.

He has been in Washington, D.C. this week and took notes…

Tuesday:

5:00 pm:  Touching down at Reagan, the loud speaker announced we were riding with the family of a fallen soldier from the Iraq War.  What a sobering thought as you see the Pentagon and this brave man’s final resting place on the hill at Arlington.  Applause erupted as we showed our appreciation.  I think our true appreciation should be living as good Americans and taking part in democracy…
