Sagacious HF “is the horse of a lifetime”

“This is the horse of a lifetime,” dressage rider Lauren Sammis of South Orange declares when asked about her ever-improving mount, Sagacious HF.

She’s not alone in that assessment.

Gil Merrick, the U.S. Equestrian Federation‘s managing director of dressage, found a consensus about the Dutchbred gelding’s future with Sammis after speaking to the ground jury that judged her at a Florida show last month, as well as others in the dressage community. …
