WEG Officials Update Business Community at Lunch Forum
Lexington, KY – The World Equestrian Games 2010 Foundation has already raised 75 percent of its budgeted goal in terms of sponsorships, but there will still be many opportunities for local businesses to play a part, according to Terry Johnson, vice president of sales and marketing for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
New Kentucky Highway Maps Released
The 2009 Kentucky Official Highway Map is now being distributed by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to welcome centers, rest areas and state parks across the commonwealth. It is also available for download in various formats.

American Saddlebred Museum Mobilizing for Expansion
Excitement is building as March 2, 2009, marks the mobilization date for construction of the Showplace for Saddlebreds—a 7,000 square foot addition onto the American Saddlebred Museum at the Kentucky Horse Park. “This is the day we have been working toward for the past four years,” said Museum President Laurel Nelson. “Building design is completed, interior design is well under way and the capital campaign is almost funded. The addition will be open by the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) Convention in February 2010, and will be more than ready for the World Equestrian Games when the world arrives in September 2010!” More…
Todd Flettrich Participates in Hubertus Schmidt Clinic in Preparation for 2009 Summer European Tour
WELLINGTON, FL – February 26, 2008 – In preparation for his upcoming European tour with three Grand Prix dressage horses this summer, Todd Flettrich rode two of his mounts in a four-day clinic with Olympic Team Gold Medalist Hubertus Schmidt of Germany. The clinic was held February 11 through 14 at Diamante Farm in Wellington, FL. Flettrich rode Danseur, a nine-year-old Warmblood gelding, and Otto, a 12-year-old Danish gelding. Flettrich’s third Grand Prix horse for the European tour is Amadeus, a 12-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding. Cherry Knoll Farm, located in West Grove, PA, and Wellington, FL, owns all three horses.
