Ali Wolff Balances College in Tampa, Elite Equestrian Events in Wellington

WELLINGTON – Ali Wolff had no problem making the transition from high school to college life once she checked the flight schedules and got her routine down.

The St. Andrew’s graduate has a longer commute to the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival as a freshman at the University of Tampa, but she’s not complaining.

At 19, she is one of the youngest and most talented riders on the elite circuit with hopes of qualifying for the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and 2012 London Olympics.

Thursday, she finished eighth with her mount Lanoo among a world-class field of riders and horses at the $30,000 WEF Challenge Cup Series II at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center…
