Bill Phiskie, of Timaru, has been invited to be the foreign judge and president of the ground jury at the three day event in the United States in May next year.
He was asked soon after learning that he had gained his international judging ranking, after passing a rigorous Federation Equestre Internationale three day eventing judges examination in Melbourne this year.
About 30 invited people from throughout the world sat the practical and written exam, which included providing submissions and evaluations of each of the three day eventing disciplines dressage, cross country and show jumping…
…He has already applied for the World Games in Kentucky in 2010, and would like to judge at the famous Badminton and Burghley Horse Trials, as well as the Rolex Kentucky three day event…
