I just wanted to comment on the picture. There is no Canadian flag on it. If he wasn't going to include all of the flags, he should not have included any.

Thanks for the comments. I definitely have the best job in the world. I get to speak with the most fascinating people about horse stuff!! Doesn't get any better than that. We are now trying to get an interview for the Stable Scoop Radio Show with Meg and Jan about their illuminating night in Malaysia. They have agreed to come on - we just need to work out a time to do the interview. Keep an eye on Stable Scoop for that.

Thanks again and be sure to tell all your friends about the Horse Radio Network!

Great interview with Vonita Bowers on Endurance. Great job making the sport more understandable to the average horseman. As a long time endurance rider, I look forward to the publicity that endurance will get here as part of the WEG in our own country for a change. I'm just sorry that we are no longer the powerhouse in a sport that we invented. I would like to think that as a result of the publicity of these Games, endurance could acquire more big sponsors and again be able to bring back the medals. I'm also sorry that as a result of the spectator factor needed to obtain the necessary sponsorship for the Games, that there couldn't be a more technical course for Endurance. That type of course is our forte, and we might have a chance at medals if that type of course could be used.

I'm disappointed with Leroy Neiman's painting because endurance is depicted in such a small way, and hardly recognisable as endurance riding. At first I thought it had been left out. The three-day horse and rider looks like dressage. It doesn't look like he thoroughly researched the disciplines before painting it.
