Elizabeth Osborn Honored as USEF Vaulter of the Year; Isabelle Parker Named Coach of the Year

The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has announced that Elizabeth Osborn of the Woodside Vaulters equestrian vaulting club has won the prestigious title of Vaulter of the Year. Osborn’s coach, Isabelle Bibbler Parker, was named USEF Coach of the Year. Osborn and Parker will receive their awards on January 16 at a ceremony during the USEF’s Annual Meeting in Cincinnati, OH. The USEF, based in Lexington, KY, is the national governing body of equestrian sport in the U.S. More…

Sport Horse Veterinary Symposium to Run with WEG

Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital and Alltech will sponsor a sport horse symposium for veterinarians to be held in conjunction with the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. The symposium, “Promoting Peak Performance in Equine Athletes,” will be held Sept. 22-24, 2010, at the Marriot Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington, Ky. In addition to this symposium for veterinarians, Rood & Riddle and Alltech will conduct seminars at the Kentucky Horse Park during the Games for non-veterinary attendees. More…

The AQHA America’s Horse Championships presented by Bank of America is a special, one-hour broadcast of some of the most exciting action from the FedEx Open competition at the 2008 American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show in Oklahoma City.
