Ok, now I want to go to the Kentucky Horse Park even more. The Black Stallion exhibit sounds amazing. Perhaps if a promotion comes my way I might make it there for the World Equestrian Games in 2010.
A complete online museum walk through for the Arabian Horse Galleries (in the International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park) has been released on www.ArabianHorseGalleries.com. This narrative offers visitors an in-depth peak at the museum storyline and evolving possibilities for the dazzling encounters, both historic and interactive, that visitors will enjoy in the future Arabian Horse Galleries.
The online museum walk through allows visitors to virtually “walk through” over 30 different exhibits by creating pictures with words, and includes comprehensive descriptions of each theme area, exhibits, history and kids attractions.
While this online experience is a working document nearing the end of its completion by museum designers, key leaders in the Arabian Horse Galleries project desired to release it as public information to share a taste of the sensory experience the Arabian Horse Galleries creates.
The Arabian Horse Galleries, a two-level, 8,000 square foot interactive museum dedicated to the Arabian horse, is currently under construction at the Kentucky Horse Park’s International Museum of the Horse in Lexington and is expected to open in late 2009. The Kentucky Horse Park draws over one million visitors annually from around the world.
